10-28-2010 03:25 PM #635 Charles D Administrator I asked Val about the phone situation and I learned that they did have a shipment of the phones come in and there were a couple of “glitches”. Apparently the antenna was not properly installed to meet specs and there was some issue with the software not working as expected. Val commented, “it’s like if you ordered a bunch of new cars and they all arrived but there was a problem with the headlight.” He went on, “the entire car doesn’t need to be rebuilt but the headlights on all of the cars need to be fixed.” I think he was trying to say that the problems are not overly significant and can/will be fixed but right now it is not a “perfect” phone and therefore they will not release them until they are.
