As I have said before, I think the Treasury dept has been holding the $USD up so that a drop would not look like Greenspan stepped on his Post-Toasties with his recent pronouncements - and probably they held it up a bit longer with the new Secty of Treas. coming on board. Now, I think it has started its journey down, but I believe they will continue to support it here and there to keep the decline orderly.
