The whole world will know when the details can be disclosed.

The whole reason for John's offer is to give shareholders a feel for the how's and why's of the situation over there.

There are certain legal constraints on John that he has no control over, and must observe.

Then too, if HE gives certain perspectives it can sound like excuses, but if a shareholder gives THEIR account of how it is over there, perhaps more people will realize the realities of operating in that part of the world.
