Well, I'm guilty of crossing the immaturity threshold set by the Chopper. But, Ben, seriously, I think INIX was caught unaware of the DTCC problem when they forward split.
It's not like the government ever sends out notices of policy change and they never send them out early, like changing the margin requirement for commodities. Always catches investors and business flatfooted (except for the big banks who actually tell the government when to change the rules). OR if they do achnowledge the change it's on the back page of some obscure publication (obituary).
