I would go to a biology text as a source, but I'm in Literature so I don't keep one. I'm pretty sure that Wikipedia is fairly accurate on this because after I googled everyone had this answer.

Haven't you been reading the news from NNVC for the past six years. What do you think saved those animals after massive infusions of deadly viruses. Just scale up the doses (2/3 of an ounce over 48 hours) and you get the same result in humans.
