The village idiot has eagerly raised his hand, to once again volunteer a wrong answer. Thanks for the comic relief.

I can see 15xEV clearly now ...

Just trying to one up Rich with the visual. <g>

<< duh....it's still a 1.25MHz carrier implementation on the air interface - done multiple times...not a 20MHz wide single carrier channel. >>

What do we call this not yet standardized RTT gizmo that would aggregate (15) 1.25MHz carriers to get to 46.5 Mbps in 20 MHz x 2 (40 MHz) of spectrum?

Let's see 3xRTT was gonna aggregate 3 1xRTT channels at 614 kbps per carrier to (almost) meet IMT-2000 3G requirements.

So we call this one 15xEV? Or is it 15xEVTT? Or is it ... (fill in da blank)?

We all know that Perry is pretty creative ... but this is overly creative, IMO.

Did you notice the Contact folks in that CDG promo piece.

Bock Communications ... the folks that tried to pass off 1xRTT as 3G.

All in good fun.
