I don't think shorting has anything to do with options. Shorting is when you sell a stock you don't own (borrowing the share from someone else), and buy back the shares later, hopefully at a lower price.

Options are agreements that allow you to buy or sell a stock at a certain price on a certain date.

Buying a put option is sort of like shorting in that you are hoping the stock price goes down, but it isn't the same thing.

And no, there aren't any options for this stock.

yes, there's another way to short, but they call it "adding liquidity"

whole nother can of worms... not even worth getting into here.

Well my broker(etrade) won't allow me to sell this stock short. Most may not allow it because shorting pennies is like playing russian roulette. You can lose FAR more than what you invest.

But some brokers may allow it...
