Getting proprietary rights to ZFN is a pretty big score for Kim. I think this is the substance of those meetings at UND in January that Joe Noel was talking about. I fully understand why Kim wouldnt even hint at this. (lightbulb) ZFN not only is a powerful tool, but if other firms were able to get rights to use ZFN, they could threaten us. Even if Kim doesn't use ZFN, he made a great play to limiting the efforts of other firms attempting transgenic worms. I hope KBLB uses ZFN, but laterally with their existing process to an extent.
This raises so many new questions, and I have many hours ahead of pondering, so I can get Ben to push Kim in giving us explanations and answers to our q's in the CC.
Get the darwin bark spider's gene sequences ASAP lol.
