Yeah the lab wouldnt release a strain until its verified homozygous. When I called over 30 days ago, I was told they were very close to homozygosity. I doubt this is/was the thing holding up press releases, if it was and they had something in the bag, they would've said so.
Actually this gives me an "excuse" to make a phone call tomorrow.
