Seawind needs to control its labor costs, including board of director compensation!
I realize these are 2009 numbers, but the profit margin is low notwithstanding the huge revenues. On the company's side, I do recognize (recognise in England) that engineers and directors with "global contacts" are expensive, but are these more developmental costs or will they be on-going?
I will have my CPA explain these accounts for me. For example, what exactly were the retained profits in US dollars. I know the conversion is 1:1.6, but the number of pounds sterling in profits is still a little unclear to this thick investor. Alas...35,000.58 pounds? (I'm very provincial with a comma v. period ignorance.) I need to travel more in Europe during my "gap year"- that is the year between working and retirement! Thanks PSPW.
