Actually this is also a possibility. I was an equity prop trader for about 6 years and there are traders that jump on news plays and wait all day for stories patiently. Some have couple mill buying power and those situations do occur. They arent investors and they could care less what the stock does tomorrow or a minute after they are out....

That's a good analysis.

The bounce back in the last four minutes shows strong buying pressure may continue, especially, if selling pressure abates.

The short term trend has been moving upward recently, I would have pegged this closing near 8, if all the price action did not occur. IMO, it will come back up to 8 within the half hour tomorrow.

If it was the company selling today for cash, they did a good job without affect pps that much (counting on the rebound) ... so if it was them selling, congratulations on them for getting it done with hurting existing investors that much !!!
