Quick Resistance question. What would cause somethign from 2004 to still have a bearing on today..... 2011. Do you think resistance established in 2004 is still relevant? If so why? I'd appreciate an answer that is either general (why resistance in general could still apply to any stock from 7 years back) or ARIAD specific.

I assume resistance or support is strongest points are most relevant when they are most recent (all things else considered equal)
