#25121 RE: frogdreaming #25117

frog, don't you think it likely that lajolla has long since been out of shares to sell this month?

they could have easily sold this months conversion shares ($375,000 worth)....

and they could have easily sold any carry over conversion amount from previous months....

and, if they chose, they could have easily sold the 4.99% holdings that they're allowed to hold.....

essentially, it's a distinct possibility that lajolla could be holding zero shares as of today.....ponder the impact of that....

and if that's the case then they can convert shares in May and NOT HAVE TO SELL in order to remain under the 4.99% threshold.....of course they can elect to sell if they want to.....

but i think they benefit longer term by selling some at much higher prices than the past 6 months+ and can benefit from a rising pps.

quite interesting to see how this could indeed play out.

i commented a couple of weeks ago on this very point that the last two weeks of april could be very interesting due to the large volume of trading early on. and the likelihood that lajolla had sold most of april's needs and thus the pps could be the result of normal supply and demand and be free of the downward ljc pressure. this seems to have played out....and then some with the extra buying that's been present lately.
