If I remember correctly, after TNFerade failed, they put out a PR saying they were hiring a firm to evaluate their options for a buyout or something like that. I'm guessing there weren't too many takers, huh?
Im not recommending GNVC but 1 -2 years ago there was a combined HIV vaccine used in women in southeast asia had 15,000 pts.It actually was a combination of two vaccines. One of the two vacines was a GNVC adenovirus vector vacine. This was the first HIV vaccine to show clinically significant results in HIV just not enough to be marketed, I think they have some good science but I dont know how many years we need to wait before it is a good investment.
