I can tell you this, I deal with hundreds of vendors all the time, if one of them under cuts my retail price on their website, that vendor is done, regardless of how popular their product is. Plain and simple. Patients will often expect me to charge more because of the work that I do. Despite that, if any manufacture ever advertises any of their products, designer or not with a MSRP less than mine they are done, and I can say with certainty, that any of my colleagues would do the same. So I just dont understand your logic. I dont care what margin the on line store wants to make here. You cant have your manufacture under cut you. It is business suicide. That is why bgnn kind of sucks so far, they are not going to get anyway with their business model. As I said, their sales for 2010 is under 200k annually. I mean, really? All of these partnerships and they cant crack 200k. JM doesnt have a problem cracking his salary over 200k, but he cant sell his goods worth a crap.
