"It will not have the traumatic effect it probably had last time," Clinton said during an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America." He said changes had been made to the system that would ease the hardships brought about by a shutdown.
That doesn't make any sense to me. What changes? People still won't be getting their SS checks, disability checks, their tax refunds, the National Parks will be closed so I'm sure all those tourists who paid for a trip to the Grand Canyon will be thrilled to find it closed. I'm sure I'm missing something but what changes have been put in place?
Will the VA hospitals be closed down?
