What kind of twisted logic is this?

The only way for any stock to move up is a buying pressure on the ask!
Buying at the bid will be marked as a sell transaction. People would probably think there was a selling pressure, which is the last thing any of us wants.

Anyone can sell at 6 if bidxask is 6x7.
Anyone can sell at 5 if bidxask is 5x6.
