RAPTOR TAKES DELIVERY OF 30 TONS OF ORE FOR PROCESSING: MINERAL RECOVERY PROCESS TARGETS GOLD, PLATINUM, RHODIUM, RARE EARTH OXIDES
GROVELAND, FL – March 30, 2011 -- Raptor Technology Group, Inc., (OTCBB: RAPT) who is in the process of acquiring Raptor Fabrication & Equipment, Inc., ("Raptor") announced today that it has taken delivery of an additional 30 tons of ore to be processed as part of its contract with Washoe Custom Processors, LLC (“Washoe”). Using its patent pending separation technologies, Raptor is able to recover an average of 60-70% of the precious metals in the hard rock ore from the Washoe mine tailings. Raptor has received a total of 130 tons of ore since the contract began.
“Our mineral recovery process is proving itself with favorable results from the first 20 tons we have received and processed from our partner Washoe with an estimated average value of $25,000 per ton. The long term contract we have in place and latest ore shipment we have received will allow us to continuously recover high value precious metals from the tailings and expand our production capacity,” said Tom Gleason, President of Raptor. “We are also evaluating professional firms to complete a 43-101 report on the tailings that will help us address the best means of processing ore in the shortest timeframe,” added Gleason.
A recent study of the mine tailings has estimated over 12,000,000 tons of tailings for processing in the current contract area.
Raptor’s mineral recovery process targets gold, platinum, palladium, rhodium, rare earth oxides, and similar high-value metals and has capture rates that are three to five times the industry standard.
