The 2005 Tashkin study conducted at UCLA concluded that marijuana smokers are less likely to have cancer than non-smokers. Look it up. It was designed to be the definitive study proving that marijuana caused cancer by the government's leading propagandist.

And then there's the Missoula Study. You ever hear of the Missoula Study? Or Irv Rosenfeld? He smokes 11 ounces a month.

I personally had a conversation with a leading cancer researcher that claims there is conflicting data with the above.

Key is, the companies in this sector that will be the most successful, regarding the "medical" side of the equation, will be developing alternative methods of delivery. Smoking may not be the best route to administer various compounds in marijuana, which may or may not be denatured by the heat/burning of the process of smoking.
