First, I do not attempt to "impose" my religion on anyone. Part of what Christians are commanded by God is to spread the Gospel by explaining it to others, but that is as far as it goes. We are to explain the Gospel but the results are up to God, not us. Christianity is a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and it is always a voluntary commitment which cannot be forced on anyone. God has left you are free to believe that there is no God, but the Bible teaches that at some point in the future you will meet Him face to face, in judgement -- but then it will be too late and your eternal future will already be decided.
By the way, if I were to jump off the Empire State Building, I would be squashed like a pancake, as you said. Scripture teaches that we should not test God and Satan tempted Jesus in exactly that way (twisting Scripture in the process), but Jesus refused, quoting and applying the Scripture in question correctly.
