I agree to a point. LOIs and MOUs drive me crazy. They're used all the time because they create hype but all too often nothing ever materializes.

I guess you could extend that to the situation here. But the problem is, the company has already put out a notice to shareholders of something comparable to an LOI or MOU. Their having received a vendor number from US Food Service.

If they were to hold true to the principal of not releasing any news until the product was on the shelf, they should not have put out the news of having a vendor number.

One other thing. Like an LOI or MOU, having a vendor number, to my knowledge, doesn't necessarily mean any product has been ordered by any stores. Is this true?

So, in my mind, having set the stage for shareholders with this minimalist bit of news, they've obligated themselves to follow through with news of a contract being signed which would be irrefutable evidence that something is actually happening business-wise.
