MNTA: Any chance of a MNTA and TEVA collaboration?

It seems to me that MNTA and TEVA have eachother by the throats and that their battling cold cause their respective stocks to languish. Meanwhile both of their competitors could forge ahead without being hindered.

Any chance that MNTA and TEVA form a collaboration? ("If you can't beat them, join them."). I am sure that there are assets from one that would be beneficial to the other. This could also position both companies better for the future.

Damn I wish I had some NZT pills (for those who've seen the movie "Limitless" - great movie).

"I think TEVA will be stuck to the $50 level with gorilla glue."

Check out Teva's close today. $50 to the penny. Looks like that gorilla glue is doing it's job. heh heh.

MNTA: TA of MNTA and TEVA synchronized highs and lows

For the past 9 months significant highs and lows in MNTA and TEVA's PPS have been in sync where a high in one stock usually means a low in the other stock. Refer to chart below.

Since TEVA's "minor deficiency" event, MNTA and TEVA have been moving in opposite directions. I believe that the recent PPS movement of each stock is developing into significant trends that might indicate that an event might occur soon to cause MNTA to hit a major new high and TEVA to hit a major new low.

In addition, IMO, MNTA's technicals are in the best shape in 5 years and TEVA's technicals are in the worst shape in 12 years. In fact, TEVA's technicals are deteriorating to the point where I no longer think that TEVA is going to stay flat and that their PPS will be "gorilla glued" to the $50 level going forward. The technicals are starting to show signs that TEVA's PPS is getting ready to break down further.

In regards to a potential event, I believe that it will be Copaxone related since it would have to affect both MNTA and TEVA (An FOB announcement would of course affect MNTA positively, but I'm not sure it would affect TEVA negatively.). I don't believe it will be generic lovenox related since the current state of affairs is well known (even mEnoxaparin earnings only moved MNTA's PPS incrementally).

Regarding MNTA and TEVA synchronized PPS going forward
I believe that the synchronization between MNTA and TEVA has been setting up for years and will continue into the future until the war between them is over; one wins, they settle, or form some type of collaboration. My analysis of the technicals also support the notion of this synchronization continuing into the future. Finally, this is probably why Cramer said that MNTA's fate is at the hands of TEVA, and why I countered that a portion of TEVA's fate is at the hands of MNTA.

(As usual, all forward looking statements are my opinion only.)

MNTA: TA, Raising price targets

A month ago MNTA was at $14.56 (3/25 close) and I posted that my analysis showed that MNTA could possibly hit the $18-$20 range within 2 months (#msg-61391185). I subsequently followed up with a post that MNTA could hit a target of $18 by the end of April (#msg-61716667).

From my initial analysis (3/26) I stated:

One last thing I'd like to mention is regarding a long-term technical indicator I use. Although technicals work best when all indicators and charts are working in unison and showing the same thing, there is a long-term indicator that is flashing that MNTA could be in the $18 - $20 range in 2 months. This is just one indicator and other indicators do not show this although they show that it is possible.

Well, all technical indicators are working in unison now and show an aggressive uptrend.

Based on MNTA's technicals, my analysis now shows that MNTA could hit the $20 - $22 range by the end of May. I'm sandbagging my estimate somewhat as I don't want to set expectations too high, but I'm very bullish on MNTA now as I believe that it is in a "sweet spot" in it's technicals where the stock will have the most aggressive price appreciation. In other words, the path of least resistance is up .

(As usual, all forward looking statements are my opinion only.)

MNTA: TA, Tracking the performance of my predictions

On March 26th MNTA was at $14.56 and I posted that it could hit $18 - $20 in two months (#msg-61391185). Now, exactly two months later, MNTA hit a high of $20 (to the penny), the highest level since mEnoxaparin approval in July 2010. The move from $14.56 to $20.00 represents a +37% gain.

Going forward, I am predicting that MNTA will at least double from the $18 level to $36 in 2011 (#msg-62899596). In addition, my analysis indicates that ultimately MNTA could triple to quadruple from current levels within 2 years.
