Did you hike on the AT?
I'm thinking about trying a thru hike next year.
From the journals I've been reading it looks like the AT is crowded, shelters always full.
Don't think I would enjoy the crowds.
Trying to decide what gear to buy. I have to keep it light.

Hey man. Hope you're hanging in there, I'm taking an extended break from all this crap, sold my CGR for some profit and have been remodeling the living room and kitchen. It's been a nice break not worrying about up or down every day!

There will be plenty to be made on the big down and it won't even matter if you're late to the short.
