I think you can track ships all the way across the ocean if you pay for a membership on the site. Freebies only get AIS information.

Kriton minimum AIS range 40 miles, i.e. when 3.5 hrs from port @ 11.3 kts. apparent speed. (11.3 is listed, and calcs out to 20:00)
Ensenada ETA: 1900 at vesseltracker, 2000 otherwise, PDT timezone
AIS signals have been received at 200 miles, with a receiver on an island mountaintop.

So im guessing we wont see the Kriton on Marinetraffic until its super close to the port? Whats the point of the website then...lame
