Here Enterprises Diversifies Clean Energy Strategy to Target Thriving Solar Power Market
Mar. 28, 2011 (PR Newswire) --

FLORESVILLE, Texas, March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Here Enterprises Inc. (Pink Sheets: HRTE), a growing developer of clean energy, is pursuing growth opportunities within the $46 billion solar energy market. In addition to working to bring wind power online at its Cycle Ranch project, the Company is now focused on developing solar power on the site, taking advantage of the Texas property's expansive acreage and excellent exposure. Here Enterprises is also moving forward with the acquisition of a local solar development firm with expertise in solar technology and systems installation.

Solar power installations worldwide increased 120% in 2010, with nearly 16 GW added, up from 7.2 GW of new capacity in 2009. Total worldwide capacity reached 40 GW, still just 0.2% of the world's electricity generation in 2010, leaving considerable room for growth. According to the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, global investment in solar panels, which topped $46 billion in 2010, is expected to double within the next five years. (Reuters, "Global solar power growth doubled in 2010", February 2011)

Last year nearly one gigawatt of new solar panel capacity was installed domestically, the highest total in United States history. Nonetheless, many analysts affirm that photovoltaic installations could reach two gigawatts this year as funding for solar installations continues to increase. (GetSolar, "Lenders Could Fuel Solar Industry's Growth in 2011", March 2011)

In the U.S. Texas ranks first in solar resource potential, according to the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), as Texas has high levels of solar radiation that pass through the atmosphere unobstructed by pollutants, clouds, water vapor, and other matter. Solar energy is an ideal complement to, and is best employed in conjunction with, wind-driven energy as wind blows strongest at night. (Texas House of Representatives Focus Report, "Solar Energy in Texas", July 2010)

Mark Ryun, CEO of Here Enterprises, commented: "Here Enterprises is excited to expand into the rising solar energy market. Solar power is a perfect fit for our philosophy and ongoing operations. We intend to take full advantage of the Cycle Ranch property's available resources, through means that are both responsible and profitable. Texas offers a ready market and vast capacity for renewable energy production and we are proud to be a part of it."
