FIE structure

Is it correct that CCME was not a FIE since insiders held a majority of the stock, and that in these cases the match between SAIC and SAT is not significant? Also,was there, in fact, not a match between SAIC and SAT's in the case of CCME? Thanks

Its not about a reverse merger, its about having operating arms report to a holding company. By law, foreigners are not allowed to directly invest in several types of Chinese companies. So this would be true for any company structured that way, reverse merger or IPO.
