Began my work experience with Teledyne as a nuclear engineer, and ended as International Marketing Manager and Director of Engineering. While with Teledyne, I developed many systems for detection of radioactivity. In 1959, I received his first patent for the development of a low-level beta ray detection system. In 1960, another employee and I took over a defaulting company to complete the construction and installation of low-level radiation detection Systems for the United States Health departments of many states. Teledyne Isotopes acquired several companies and I was put in charge of evaluation and the reorganization of the Engineering Departments for the companies. Was responsible for the program for developing a system for detection of underground nuclear test control during the Johnson Administration for the proposed underground Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. I designed the total detection system, including the electronics for the most advanced Carbon 14 dating systems in use. I became manager of Engineering and Development in 1964, and during the period from that time until my departure in July of 1975 received more than five additional patents for specialized detection systems
