The big difference is

#1, You don't have to fill up your hard drive.
#2, You don't have to waste your time downloading.
#3, I can stream on anything that has an internet connection, which by the way is getting to be almost all gadgets. wifi or 3g/4g.
#4, I can stream on a PC, MAC, Linux or whatever, no special software needed other then a browser.

Data usage is equal for downloading and streaming.

Actually I think streaming uses less data because. If it is not the right song I can stop listening to it right away and not waste data usage, can't do that with downloading.

NO DRM on streaming.

Should I continue?

My point was either one way or another. If you need to be connected to the internet, then make it a streaming service, then you can use it on iDevices and have more options. That was my whole point about streaming --- if its streaming then you can use said devices.

If they are downloaded, make it so you can easily copy the songs to the device, and/or sync wirelessly. One or the other, to have to do both seems a bit cumbersome / unnecessary.

At least, that was my point, I can't speak for anyone else.
