Each Reactor in the GE/Hiachi series units had dual 9000 hp electric pumps.

The Three Mile Island (Babcock and Wilox) Reactor has four cooling towers and they send 200,000 GPM into each tower! The water vapor that you see coming out of each tower is estimated at 3000 to 5000 gallons per minute alone depending on atmos conditions.

This isn't small stuff.
