#162440 RE: HowHi #162437

Pending the activation of this relationship (USA National Account), we will commence building an “As Seen on TV” stature for Winning Colours Stain Remover. It is well known that products which are active in the DRTV platform can be particularly successful in traditional retail because of the appeal for consumers of “celebrity” products and the convenience of purchasing them spontaneously in stores.

It seems WNBD had belief it was going to activate in Summer 2010, it did not, and with lead time of DRTV development, arrangements, etc. it commenced going forward with commercial (and gain knowledge, insights, setup, etc. via a test/trial). DRTV is not as effective with S&H costs imo as opposed to leading customers to their favorite national stores like (Walgreens, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. via store logos in TV Ads - or whereever As Seen on TV products may appear in various retailers).

----------

Piggy Wiggy - is anybody that familiar with PW? Franchise of stores in particular region? Little to no advertisement or feature in flyers - wasn't likely to do that well - not a surprise imo

-----------

C-stores - Udell (non-start) disappointing for sure to date; however interested to see how Karrys (distributing) in Canada does in this particular sector and what 'revisement' is forthcoming related to USA (decision on actual direction)

-----------

Duane - already getting good start with 50,000 pocketpaks with handouts, etc.; I think will get more featured, especially in New York locale where advertising/marketing reach is vast.

------------

Walmart Canada - changes in organizational structure can hurt or help a brand. Not sure 'lack of sales' as much as some other items/issues. Reconsideration should be address imo in next couple weeks and what status going forward will be with this particular retailer. Customers appear to be asking for it within this chain.

Note: Canadian Tire appears to be making up more then any slack from Walmart with introduction of racks in various stores and in good foot traffic areas, averaging 1.25-1.50 large bottles in one particular store.

-------------

In addition to having search feature on iHub, there is search feature on WNBD CEO blog where look up of various retailers or initiatives can be revisited since Sept 2010.
