There ain't a thing any of us can do about it? IMHO In the long run it will bring opportunity through reconstruction. As far as the fall out of radiation the reality is it will be far less loss of life than the result of the tsunami.

Look at Chernobyl after 25 years? They say the total loss of life is maybe around 4000 and the immediate loss at the time of the accident was less that 150. The instantaneous loss of life from Planet Earth in Japan will be many times that number by the time they sort it all out!

The thing about a nuke accident is once things get out of control the ones who have to solve the problem get massive dosages and can't really do much to solve the problem without sacrificing their lives.

I definately wouldn't want to own any Nuke energy stocks right now that is for sure. The biggest problem with Nukes is ... It is not a matter of IF it is a matter of when! You can be assured that if the radiation is large enough it will reach the west coast and drift over America..

We all share the same planet and air space you can not escape! Certainly isn't going to help the economic recovery that was starting to look pretty good IMHO!

There is my two cents now go and buy some PLUG shares!

Hey nano... time is up for the Japan Nuke disaster.. Water won't do the job anymore. They have run out of options and they will need to start to drop massive amounts of sand, High fire clay, boron and concrete from helicopters. The equipment they use will have to be left behind and the folks that do the job will become hero's ... The evacuated zone will remain that way and over 500 thousand people will be displaced.

The longer they wait to do this the more damage that will be done.. It's over dude this one is even worse than Chernobyl!
