joe...you and my friend misoft may have missed my point, maybe it wasnt clear..how about all the intervention this year...wasn't the market going down in early oct..and the ppt came in to "create the double bottom..for a while anyway..we agree more or less..my point was we had the fall after 9/11 many little guys (and some big got hurt) then we rallied, fell apart this year, rallied this fall. and will most likely fall apart again....misallocated capital on the ppt, yes..not letting nature run its course will make it worse...sorry, i guess im a lone wolf here....if the ppt /gov had a a duty IT WAS TO PREVENT or minimize the meltdown after 9/11 as much as possible...after the meltdown, after many were hurt prices came right back up helping those in, not out.
