What I meant is that Shaprio can't simultaneously represent company and shareholders. Should have used the word "both" to be more clear.

Shapiro - Client of CCEM ?

There is no class action suit by them setup at this time - they are still collecting information and still feel that CCME shareholders have been wronged by Muddy and Citron.

So if there is a client agreement with CCME, we do not know - it could be since there are no class actions at this time and no agreements with stockholders - so since they are only taking names -

The big questions is based on the fact that Shariro does not go after shorts in class action suits - so why they would do that now - it must be either they are very very strong on CCME not being a fraud - so they and are going to put their own skin in the game or something else or they are being paid by someone.

Yes Shaperio does not say they have CCME as a client, but why has the highest standard firm suddenly risk its name and partner funds to take on Muddy and Citron by itself -

It is a strange unless CCME has payment to them coming in some way - this is all IMO. How do they expect to get a judgement from Citron and Muddy with funds unknown - call me crazy, but most high class lawyers first make sure there is a pile of money in the bank somewhere before they jump into the massive expense of a case like this - that is why the almost always run cases against Corporations and not Shorts. That is why you don;t see litigation like this by shareholders against shorts - and why Shapiro, to the best of my understanding, has not done this kind of shareholder based case against short before - it just does not make sense unless CCME is the client.

There is no conflict until there is a case filed or shareholder agreements and Shapiro is not required to name as a clients or diclose an engagements as you know - that is client confidential - in fact they can deny an client contract over the phone and that is not a problem - plus they are still just collecting names which is non-binding for them under non-conflict, in my opinion.

My bet - Shapiro is a client of CCME and that is not going to become public - IMO - anything else does not make sense.
