Shapiro is not CCME's counsel. CCME would have to hire them and sign a representation agreement. Shapiro is looking to initiate a class action on behalf of shareholders in a suit against MW/Citron. Shapiro does not advise or otherwise provide legal counsel to CCME. Even if they wanted to, Shapiro could not represent the company and the shareholders due to a potential conflict of interest.
I got a call back 10 minutes later from Kaitlyn Saner at Shapiro. They are gathering information and could have the suit ready to launch as early as Monday. I was surprised at this. She said things were looking "pretty good".
