Prior to becoming Axis Energy Corp this was once called Floodsmart, Inc. and also Allied Energy, Inc. I'm not familiar with Allied Energy but am with Floodsmart which was, if I recall correctly, a system that could actually lift or raise foundations on buildings or homes in flood zone areas? If anybody else remembers Floodsmart maybe you can shed more light to what their exact business was.

Everyone is just hunkered down waiting for the next disaster.

What? There is one today??

Clint Eastwood called it. Just watched Eastwood's Herafter the other night and the opening 15 minutes is now live on CNN in Japan this am.

They had 15 to 20 minutes notice before the waves hit.

1989. We built 13 homes in Kobe Japan Canadian style with new seismic codes being introduced into Japan. We would drive for miles thru new subdivisions of Traditional Japanese homes being built... posts, small beams, rice paper/plastered walls and heavy concrete tile roofs. Years later, we were sent photos from the Kobe paper after the earthquake hit of the entire area in rubble and the only thing standing for miles was the 13 houses we did and 13 by a Seattle builder. The whole area we worked and lived in for months ...leveled.

It's a head shaker watching another massive earthquake hit Japan today and has taken Libya to number #2 story for the time being.
