No worries, I will accept that. It just seemed from that last post and others that you had more information, but that seems not to be the case, and we are glad to have you post on this board.
As for the company, I can understand bhapa's frustration. I also invest in some big, very well run companies, (SIR*, BA*, F, etc.....), however, I have also dealt with many penyystock companies, that either have no IR department, or some number that is fwded to some relations company that just anwers a phone and takes messages, even some that answered for other companies as well....lol
So I am saying, goes with the territory. I think we need to realize that CBIS is a small, niche, company, in a struggling sector that is trying to find it's place in a giant market run by big pharma companies with deep pockets. When you start off sometimes, you hire folks who are friends to cover areas that are not a priority, such as IR, will that change, I sure it will very soon as this thing lifts off the ground. Mark, from someone's else's post, did start one correct thing.....most times, when small companies stumble on something big like this, they are bought out....why, because the big pharma companies have the resources, and capital to market the product on a large scale.......CBIS is not in that position, something I think we can all agree on. Can it happen here, absolutly, I would not be surprised one bit.
As for manangement, I think Dr. Bob is a very smart man and without a doubt, one of the leaders in this new field......from my discussions with Mark, it is clear that CBIS is bringing on board folks better equipped to handle expansion., lobbying, etc...good thing IMO
Is the PPS their top priority.......not right now IMO, should it be? Not sure, I think their main priority is to get the information out about their product, keep prssure on D.C. to ease restrictions on Med MJ, and seek other avenues to market their product.....
I do not think Dr. Bob would stick his neck out like this unless he had a very good reason. And I am sure he would not do it to lead folks astray.....this is a deliberate tactic IMO.....There is something big under all this......and no matter what, I do not think we will be hurting in the end.......I think they will get funding for expansion and FDA trials, or they will get bought out.....either way.....we will win, because I am sure any tender offer, solicted or not, will be much higher than what we are seeing now........all of this is IMO........
Lastly, not sure if I stated this before, but when Mark led me to believe that they were looking at opening a new clinic, it was not going to be in Austrailia, but the Phillipines.......I suspect more PRs to come very soon and if Dr. Bob says he is going to be doing a press conference, I believe him...........and I think it will be big......to each his own.......Good Luck.......I am going to bed now......early flight in the morning......hard to believe I get paid to do what I do.....Good night All
