HrH: You are spot on IMO. Based on the angry denials and reactions of the other agora posters to the posts by you and ory and the fact that agora has removed many of the posts (even though they were not in violation), I also believe that Basso may been shorting over the last few months and is in a bind because the SEC has not yet declared the registration of the new shares to be effective, therefore, they can't close their short position by converting.
If that is the situation, they certainly don't want any attention paid to them and would certainly want the posts spotlighting them to be removed ASAP.
Keep in mind that the format of the Series EE financing allows short selling before converting because the CP shares are considered to be an underlying long position. However, if they short before the shares are registered, they are engaging in naked short selling because they can't deliver the shares.
It's also interesting that e.Digital has had to continuously ammend the registration statement, which is why the registration is so delayed. The SEC does not "approve" of a registration, they merely declare it effective when all of the necessary disclosures are included. Apparently, the SEC is using a fine-toothed comb this time.
