there is another possibility - that there is a contract but it is not effective yet - i.e. starting on 3/15/11 or commencing with the PR for this earnings report...
Exactly. I'd expect a PR firm to say something more along the lines of, "We weren't hired to serve as a source of information for investors and due diligence, you should go to their IR for that."
