Shorts are everywhere. But your brokerage account is also letting shorts work with your shares. My etrade account can be blocked if I request it. Etrade makes money from me and from the shorts who use my shares also.

But in a short squeeze or if I want cheap shares, shorts provide me with additional play.

You could email or call your broker and tell him or her to block your shares from being shorted.

Good news is our friend, shorts can be used at times, but shorts are not our friends. Nor are the brokerage firms our friends. That is what is wrong with the stock market, people making money from nothing..............oldmanbadman rdncoic
