hi jeffnc , i'm surfing today. watching golf while i do it.

3rd round getting close today. clarke is giving away some to the ones breathing down his neck.

6 stroke lead is a 2 stroke behind [just boggied again]. lonard is the new leader.

But arrogance is what golf is all about! I remember reading something years ago about how the pros never blamed themselves for a bad shot...there was always some external influence (either real or imagined) that caused a missed shot...

I'm loving this series though...a lot of fun!!!

Can't believe you guys are talking about BB III! :-) How about the Darren Clarke meltdown? Opens with 4 of 5 birdies and I think that put him at -14 and 4 strokes up on the field. 13 more holes and he is at -5 tied for 2nd?!?! And just think if he doesn't get the break of a lifetime with that ball STOPPING on the rail?!? And those guys, Love III, Furyk, Pampling probably thought they were completely out of it and any kind of move, they might have won the darn thing!

Speaking of blowing smoke, looks like Cardinal Francis Arinze of Nigeria picked up a lot of action when his odds slid because he shows back up as the front runner this AM. I wonder if there is someway to box all the italians?:-)
