chipguy, what are the main volume products they produce in East Fishkill´s fab and with what process are they manufactured?

As you pointed out, nowhere do they assure us that yields are at industry standard norms. Only that the stability continues to improve...

I have had the opportunity to monitor yields at a large unnamed semiconductor manufacturer and they are stable, essentially from the getgo. To have unstable yields so far into a process generation is very unsettling. This is the technology partner that AMD fans are convinced will make for an quick and easy 65nm ramp. I am not so convinced.
