Injectable drug delivery for ICU and critical care patients is greatly needed, especially a drug that would be highly effective in immunally compromised patients, or against severe and deadly forms of influenza.
OK, you have a nasty bout of a flu that's going around and you go to the doctor seeking relief. Would you take the shot if the doctor offered one that would cure and clear up symptoms within 24 hours instead of another 4 to 7 days of further damage? I think most people would, if they were already at a doctor's office.
