Knight Capital buys reverse mortgage co.

Knight Capital Group Inc. will acquire mortgage company Urban Financial Group Inc., the financial services company said Tuesday.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Urban Financial, a privately held company based in Tulsa, Okla., originates direct and brokered home mortgages. It's one of the country's major providers of reverse mortgage loans.

Knight Capital, based in Jersey City, N.J., said the deal still needs regulatory approval. If it receives that, the acquisition will begin boosting the company's earnings per share in 2010.
