Homer, this is really good, and thanks for this post. Whenever I get caught up in something that I feel the need to stretch the truth, (AKA, lie through my teeth)If I get called out on the table for it, I will simply say, it's not my fault, it must be my "innability to communicate correctly"
Seriously, if you are the CEO of a publicly traded company, and you have the ear of thousands of people with lots of money invested, and you have the "innability to communicate correctly" it is probably not a good idea to hold a Conference Call. Please do not get in contact with my 11 year old son, as he will attempt to use this defense on a daily basis.I can see it now.....
Son, I asked you how your report card was, and if there was anything on there to be concerned with, and you said it was fine, with just a couple small assignments I need to work on. Your report card is loaded with F's, why did you tell me it was fine.

The guy lied Homer. It's pretty hard to defend no matter how you twist the english language. Can this mess still turn out to be profitable? We will all find out in a few months I guess.
