lesnshawn: You bring up a good point, but if the judge is a die hard liberal he looks at Virgin an 800lb gorilla and a tiny little mouse Neomedia Technologies based on that who do you think he will rule in favor of. However I will sleep better at night knowing that the judge based his verdict on the facts which were layed out in front of him/her.

And yes it doesn't make one a liberal if they puff the magic dragon, unless they drive around in a Scooby van while smoking a dooby.

lesnshawn: I was momentarily concerned about what a "liberal" judge might do if he believed it was for the "common good" according to his/her own sensibilities. However I believe this fear to be unfounded and a product of our natural paranoias. Economics are fundamental to everything and it has been long recognized that intellectual property rights are a fundamental corner stone of economics. If any sitting judge should adopt a cavalier attitude to same he might find himself up for judicial review and sanction by his peers. IMO few judges desire to bring this on themselves. Intellecetual property infingement is a hot issue right now and has been for some time and will continue into the furture as far as we can see. We are all basically predators. That is why we are paranoid. God help us.
