Beamer, like I told Doug, it's just a change in language. Kind of like being gender-neutral in all government documents. For some odd reason, that hasn't led to a female POTUS yet.

Besides, the "higher prices for PCs" is bunk. Look at the example Reuters brings up:

Governments are big spenders when it comes to technology. A single computer tender for the French military that was called into question by the EU was worth up to 500 million euro ($640 million).

I guarantee you that the computer would have cost just as much had it been "AMD Inside."
