It's pretty simple it's all about the the bid and ask. If the trade is at the bid it's a sell if it's at the ask it's a buy. Please tell me you get this

Think of it this way...Think in terms of a Market order.

If you want to Buy,,,you pay the ASK price.
If you want to Sell,,you receive the BID price.


There obviously is a buyer & seller on every transaction, but they are described and the transaction is reported as: noted above.
