Because they are clauses in contracts that allow the other parties to cancel. So that is how! Have you ever bought a car? If so you know that you have up to 3-5 days to decide that you don't want it and can get a full refund back. etc....... Yes lawyers are smart very smart and they put in clauses for just this very reason. I am not saying that the deal is dead, but when they were finalizing the deal, rite aid or maybe LKEN decided that this was not the best thing for them so they pulled the plug. If either party pulled the plug then I am sure they is some type of compensation package attached to the deal. So yes all contracts have a way out, and yes I have signed a deal where they backed out within a month of agreeing to the terms of distribution. Now let's take this one step further maybe when they Rite Aid signed the deal they did not realize that if one of their similar products had a no compete clause in their agreement this would make their current distribution partner null and void and thus would result in a current contract to be broken, into ligiation etc...... So that is another possible thing that might have happened. Just speculating so I really don't know just like everyone else on this board. The deal has not been PR'd so we don't know. Can you get over it already? According to you a rep said they won't have the product and your soon to be out (even though your obviously trying to bash for cheap shares ). FYI the reps online don't have access to inventory lists so they eod have no idea whether they would carry a product or not. Nice try though.
