Hi, Markz: Thanks for the post, and it's definitely timely and relevant, as regards MMs and their past allowable behaviors. What most of those rules are aimed at has to do with increasing not only transparency but also "fair play" (at least, in the opinion of the rulemakers). What I've found is that for every defense created, an offense soon enough manages to exploit a weakness within that defense. Certainly, the MMs have had more than enough time to adjust to the upcoming rules changes, so we'll have to see if Monday brings any actual change in behavior or trading patterns.

Thanks for the post.. Very interesting.. Lets just hope the SEC or someone can enforce it and put some teeth into these regulations.
