JackieChan: That is one big pile. The truck in the #3 picture has pretty much dumped its load- 40 tons in a pile at the end of the bed. The Pile of ore is height of the truck's extended bed. Wish we had a couple more angles, based on the lenght of the truck and the 40 ton pile behind it we coulds almost calculate the volume of the ore pile. Iron ore is abour 5,000 pounds per cubic yard so the pile behind the truck is about 15 cubic yards. Stock pile is very large, of coarse the boat is large also.(35,000 ton - 70,000 tons).
